Jonas,

I've only fished the 79H Ripplefisher..... which is an amazing rod, and a firm favourite of mine which I am sure will no t dissapoint you in any way....

If you are looking for an even more powerful rod, a pure chugging weapon, I have a custom RF 78XH which I could send to Sweden with a friend who is flying back to Stockholm on Tuesday night from Cape Town, so could save you on the shipping and customs fees...

I bought this rod a while back, its brand new, never been fished, still has shrink on the handles...

I've had plenty of offers from people interested in it, but unfortunately the shipping from South Africa is CRAZY expensive, and not worth it as it adds a couple $100 extra dollars to the price... but I could ask my friend to take it back with him if you are interested, I'll make you a great deal on it, I need some cash for Family Christmas presents!!! :-)

Sorry if this is off topic... but like I said, I've only ever fished the 79H, which is my No.1 heavy rod... "heavy" being relative as its an incredibly light rod, beautiful action, heaps of power, casts like a dream, and no problem throwing 200 gram plus lures.... chugs like a drwam, and works big sticks pretty well too...

drop me a mail on [email protected] if you want more info or pics of the 78XH ( its metallic blue )

Cheers

Hi Jonas

I am the owner of a HIIB Rocket which I really do like - casting and popping wise. I feel that it handles CF GT3 190 and G-cups OK but I would not use it for poppers the size of an I-cup. I have fished with it 4-5 times in lakes and harbours in Denmark - no fish yet!  ;)

I am though aware of two HIIB Rockets that have been broken into 3 pieces.

I also have the MH80H (Not the 79XH) and I actually feel that the MH80H has a bit more grunt down low than the Rocket (Which corresponds to that the blank on the MH80H is thicker at the top of the handle than the Rocket is).

I am based in Copenhagen and we are a couple of mad guys that occasionally pop in a lake just north of Copenhagen. I don't know where in Sweden you live but you could join one of those sessions and try my rod if you'd like.

Best regards,
Peter
