Popping the GBR - Cairns / Port Doug
March 29, 2007, 10:02:03 AM
Good morning all,

Luke I will be heading to Cairns on the 10 of September for 7 days with the better half........ Apparently I spend way too much time away from her !

So my question to you is could you point me in the right direction. Charters or landbased. Do you have any contacts as I want to pop the outer reefs.

Thanks in advance

Joe

Luke,

I totally respect your secret spot... I will try and find a few myself !

Yes, please put me in touch with kerry or if you have his phone number that would be great.

Cheers

Joe,

I will call Kerry tonight and see if we can tee up a good deal for you.

Do you know roughly how many days you would like to fish for? I assume you want to possibly sole charter (best and recommended).

fished out of cairns maybe 60 times,

used kerry 4 or 5, he is great for begginers that dont mind being taken for the ride, but for a sole charters and when the client wants to put some imput on the day not so good,

you would be way better off hiring a boat yourself try boab boat hire (better boat aswell)
