using all single headrigged assist hooks on all our big poppers now, with enormous improvement in fish release condition and angler safety over using trebles
thinking of trying this rig on the smaller poppers we use for red bass, trevors, trout and such in the shallows, such as the 135 and 105 Roostas. scale down the hook to a Hoodlum 4/0 or similar. be nice to release those guys in as good a shape as the GTs
anyone out there had much experience running assists on small poppers?
