Carpenter Gamma y 160H vs. y 160
March 08, 2014, 04:10:13 AM
I've searched this on the forum, and I can't find any good information differentiating these two lures, other than there's a 5 gram weight difference and a slightly different action.

Can someone please explain the difference in action between the two lures, and what fishing situation(s) each might be a more appropriate choice.

Thanks,

Dan

Personally, I detect no difference in the action.

I think the lure is designed to comfortably take slightly larger hooks than a standard 160?

Brandon is probably the man to comment on this.

I believe the additional weighting is for non-traditional hook configuration i.e. single hooks / assist etc.
