New Zealand Jigging in December

Hi Guys

Looking at visiting the south island of NZ at Xmas time. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what jigging or fishing is available down there this time of year. Would love a big King!

Don't know of any south Island kingfish charters , sorry . Most of the kingfish chaters operate from Whakatane , Tauranga , Whiitianga and then the far north .

Hey Dan where in the south are you heading to? There are king fish caught in the top of the South Island, nelson and the Marlborough sounds and also check out some guys that run out of French pass D Urville island.

Sorry about what I posted earlier - there are some really good kingfish caught at d ' Urville .
