April 2017 Saint Brandon opportunity
June 03, 2016, 05:40:49 AM
Hi,

April 2017 (7th-17th) we will be fishing Saint Brandon's atoll in the Indian Ocean, unfortunately 2 of our 8 angler group will not be joining us. The remaining 6 angler's (1 Mauritian, 1 UK and 4 Dutch) will be doing this trip nonetheless but we have decided to welcome 2 extra angler's if anyone is interested.
Obviously the cost of the trip divided by 8 works out nicer than divided by 6 as well :)

We will be staying in a lodge on 1 of the islands in the south which will be our base camp for the 8 days.
We'll have 2 smaller boats and a big game boat at our disposal for our fishing, a battle plan will be made on a daily basis and based on everyone's wishes.
The fishing possibilities are very versatile :
-Flyfishing for bonefish, permit, GT etc.
-Popper fishing for GT
-Jigging for dogtooth, GT etc.
-Trolling for sailfish, marlin, tuna (annual tuna run with YFT upto 200lbs)
-Light tackle with lures or bait for reef species
-Bait fishing for reef species

Included in the trip:
-8 days and 7 nights accomodation on Saint Brandon
-return trip Mauritius - Saint Brandon(2 days)
-use of boats (with crew) including fuel
-all food and drinks except for alcoholic beverages
-licenses needed to fish and stay at Saint Brandon
-some fishing equipment but please bring your own, extra gear can be purchased locally before departure

Additional cost will be:

-Flights to/from Mauritius
-some nights accomodation and food on Mauritius before and after the trip
-personal expenses

Saint Brandon is basically uninhabited and the fishing is fabulous, try Google and youtube for more information.

If interested or for aditional info or pricing please PM.
