By the way - did you fish with Manu at both spots, or Etienne take you out as well?

mmmmmm... expensive habit, you're not wrong.
But next time she asks give her a choice
1. The GGs
2. The Pub
3. The Mistress
4. GT Fishing
cheers
Stan
ps: we fished with Etienne at La Foa and he crewed for us at Bourail, good arrangement.

Yep....I have used that one before...
Anyone who has a wife that gives you grief about fishing to much...
When you say...."well would you like me sitting in the pub all day...?"....a blank look normally follows and they cant really say much...

Epic trip Stan, that shallow water big fish combo sounds crazy!
Glad to hear your info on fish care and handling. In the last few relatively pristine places on the planet its good to know that care of fish as well as tagging and study is going on.
cheers for the report sounded like you relived it as you wrote it up.
love to see more pix
Ewan.

Hey Stan,
A great report and a top trip, well done all round!
Some of the tagged GT's have been recaptured already. Over 100 GT's have been tagged to date.
Cheers David.
