Sachin
I saw the original rod which was really bloody long, about 8'6" if I remember correctly. They have very recently released a shorter model which is about 7'6" to 7'8" long, I think.
The rod was solid and I am sure would have handled big fish. I'm just not that big a fan of AG myself.
If it swims; I want to catch it!

The JM rods are more parabolic...I dont know if they would suit GT popping very well. I know some guys here in the States like them for Bluefin popping

I think that Jigging Master have changed there popper rods over the last couple of years, I did hear that they use to be a bit soft in the tip but im sure all that has now changed.
The new 7'8 popper rod is a very nice looking rod, I dont no alot about popper rods myself but I think the new ones are made from a new very strong blank that there new Three Kings Special jigging rods that they have just brought out are made out of.

If anyone is on the Gold Coast and wants to view any of the Jigging Master rods please flick me a PM.
