Well done Peter, i believe i was out the same day or maybe the day before but up at mooloolaba with a mate and had the same situataion, just football field's of tuna, we had the lot, yellowfinn, stripy's, mack's. These fish did not even spook from the boat noise they were that thick, until one was hooked and then a part of the school would disappear for a bit only to rise 20 seconds later. We were able to motor through the schools to find and locate the bigger fish, We found that the yellowfinn would continually more at a frantic pace and some time's it was hard to keep up with them. We did well with some yellowfinn just over 15kg. We also witnessed what we think was a pair of marlin running through the school tuna having a field day. Glad to see someone else witnessed these masses of fish, cause some of the boys wouldn't believe us.
