Never used one of these lures, but I have heard of them, seen then on vids etc.
The first thing I thought about their design was regarding the holes in the front cup face. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a series of holes in the front (thru to the sides) of a popper mean that the air could escape every time you blooped the lure? I would have thought this would severely reduce it's ability to grab a mouthful of air, and hence, make smaller and quieter bloops?
Be interested to hear anyones thoughts on this feature of the Williamson poppers.
