Carpenter Charity T-shirt for Japanese earthquake and tsunami disaster

Dear all,

Carpenter will be making some T-shrit for helping people affected by recent earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan.

I have just had a chat with Kenji Konishi, the owner of Carpenter and I'll be helping him to sale those T-shirt in this region or outside Japan if anyone would like to contribute on this.

I'll update this thread once they have decided specification on T-shirt but current plan is to make those in three colours and four sizes. Price is expected to be around $50 AUD. (Please see latest draft below.)

I'll be taking order till the end of April and T-shirt will be delivered at the end of May or early June.

All money collected will go to Japanese Red Cross via Carpenter and neither Carpenter or I will make any profit on this.

If there is going to be XXL or even better XXXL then I will take one in each color.   

As good a cause as any, they will defiantly need lots of help over the coming decade to get everything back in order.

I'd buy a shirt (L sizing). However, if they were doing a design featuring a Carpenter Gamma, then I'd be all over it like a seagull on a hot chip.

Don't know what sort of time line would be needed for final designs, but being a graphic designer myself, I'd be happy to submit a concept or 2. Tak or Brandon, PM me if you reckon the Carpenter people are interested in seeing some other design ideas.

At this is stage, they are thinking to have them in black, grey and white in the size of US S, M, L, XL.
Konishi san thinks he can make one in XXL size and XXXL size with small price increase.

I'll confirm this as soon as they made decision.

As they have to move this quickly, they will make decision pretty soon. I think they will go with design I have posted earlier and are now choosing colours and material.
