Hey tak

Why is it except the BLC ?

BLC series has been designed for Kingfish or similar type of fish and due to type of fight fish or angler need, rods have been designed to produce maximum power at much lower angle compare to rods in other series and maximum drag is rated at same level.

For Carpenter rods, is the whole process of rod building and blank rolling done in Japan?

Thanks.

hi tak...planning to get a dedicated stickbait rod. ..will the tbl 83/32 able to work gamma 140 and 160 well.?
I know rod is rated max 170g...so with gamma 160 with hooks all in..shld be 190g..will it be pushing it.?

Peter, the line weight you want to use is a rather critical factor as well.
While the 83/32 is ok on 140 gammas, you are pushing the friendship excessively with the 160 gamma.
If it swims; I want to catch it!
