Hi all, I'd like to point out something about.
Reading this topic, I notice that a lot of you use or suggest relatively strong rod (7 kg of drag, 80- 90 gr of CW) for stella 5000. Is my personal opinion that this class of reel is a little bit small for such rods. I tested the drag of my stella 5000 FA and dynamometre stopped befere 5 kg (drag was completly closed).
Have someone cheks the drag of stella 5000. I had been surprise from the result...
Spool dimension (not only capacity) is ideal for PE2 (or 3), for me (mine is spooled whit PP20 lbs)... So I'd like to know if there are reasons to use 5000 class reel whit PE2-4 rods, my be I underrate potentially of 5000 class reel, but for popping and stikbaiting up to 80gr I actullay use bigger reel (saltiga Z4500 or in some occasion 10000SW).
I'd like to check Yamaga Blue Sniper 70/3 or Carpenter BC 75MLR, as upper limit rod for Stella 5000.
Thanks a lot to all and sorry for english errors:-)
