Crusty made this lure at my request. What we were trying to create was a monster popper that would be comparatively easy to work compared to other monster poppers in the market but would still stick hard in the water like the rest of the Kong family. Obviously, a lure of this size is never going to be easy to work for long periods of time but to me, we achieved what we set out to do. In my view, it is significantly easier to work than other monster poppers out there.
I think for most people though, the standard 200 Kong is already more than enough popper.
If you want to use a popper of this size, you've got to be able to use it effectively otherwise you're wasting your time. I've literally seen guys using G and I Cups before who were creating a smaller chug than I was doing with a 125 Cubera.
