Approx Weight - Swains GT

Hi Guys,

Any idea how much this fish would weigh? Didnt have time to get the measuring tape out after the fight.

Fish was caught at the Swains last week on a Cubera 150.

Nice straightforward pic Ben... that makes it easier. If I had not seen Pete and Brandon's answers I would have said 20/21..... but I am sure they are both much better weight guessers than me!

I thought it would be a 50kg the way it was pulling, then I saw it was a normal size ... I'm pretty sure I'd never get a 50kg fish in the boat!!

I was watching the weather for your trip (wasn't much help sorry). How far did you get?
It looked like it might have been Ok by the end of the trip?
Looks like it was successful regardless of the weather.

The rear half of that fish is solid plus the tail is bending away from the pic.  With out being swayed by anyone elses guess I would have said 22kg

Weather was a bit challenging at the start of the week, but got periodically better as the days went on.

I'm actually with Travis. Before he posted I guessed 22 myself. Either way it's around that 17 to 22 class. Nice fish mate.

That's a fairly thick fish! 25 at least!
