Thought I would share this pic.
Superb fish indeed, with a 139 cm fork length. It was caught at a site which seldom produces any GTs let alone one this notable. A number of members of this forum have thrown a few lures at this particular rock with me - guys, it's the one with the huge bat roost, shaped like a shoe.
And, for the guy who caught it, it was his very first GT on a popper. Throw in the fact that the rock where it was caught is only 30 minutes on the water from my house and it's completely off-season, then I was left pretty stunned by news of this fish! Oh, and on a PE6 set up!
Absolutely brilliant and congratulations to everyone involved. Certainly the largest GT caught popping in Bali waters for quite some time and
very encouraging.
