Haha, I believe the Smith agent would have something to say about that! 

But the GT in the pic doesn't look like a fish that could cause that kind of damage to a 52ex....... 

The HIIB Rocket is a rod I am considering for Oman. Mind sharing your observations on the causes for those breakages? You can PM me if thats more appropriate.

correct me if my geography is wrong, but this location is part of french polynesia, in the south eastern pacific ocean,  the marquesas islands to the north of tahiti.

yes it is the Marquesas islands. It took us two days of travel each way to get there from W.A
