I think you can.

If you are trying to bring up GTs from depths of 30 metres plus, then I think large, big cupped poppers are worth trying.  You need to make as much splash and noise as possible.

Also, fast sinking stickbaits will go down to those depths without problem - lures such as Carpenter Pandora 155+30m, the larger Orion Bigfoots and the new Heru Bobara XX.

That's the way I would approach it.

Also try the Fcl HJ stick. Sinks very quickly and the bib like nose of the lure keeps it working down deep.
