If you use the search facility you should find plenty of info as it is a popular rod.

I have the 85/36 but i've been on trips and seen the 82/38 in action. It should pair well with an 18k or 10k with 16k spool for PE8 or a 10k with PE6.

I believe it will handle smaller poppers like a 125g cubera, or slightly bigger stickbaits like a 160g gamma. It's a lovely rod and a bit of an all rounder.
