Looks nice all those pictures.

I got every time more atractive to this location.
Unfortunatly there are no dog tooth tuna,s.
Number 1 on the list for me to catch 1. And i am a little bit
a fraight about where the location is. But on the other side
when is the next trip and how much $$$$ is it?

Best regards,

Arnout.

Socotra is a very interesting place; I remember when we saw those giant sand dunes and thinking the weather must get wild there; and now you experienced it.   :P

As much as it sucks that this part of the world has political conflicts, maybe this is part of the reason socotra remains somewhat pure.

I'm still haunted about the big GT I lost there this year; I have dreams about it sometimes; well, nightmares really.   :D

Beautyfull trip,

I can see fishing is great but how dangerous do you think it is? I refer with political problems(not engines ;D).
I have been thinking in that place for a long time but i´m afraid of the yemen political situation.
 Thanks,
 Iñigo.

Arnout,
You can't look at it from that perspective, all the guy that goes to Socotra are not Muslim mainly.

Glad you're home with the crew. I can't wait to hear about Tanzania! BTW, on the previous trips to Socotra, have you tried to jig for dogtooth?

Hi Brandon,

I finally made it home and i was hoping to put up the report today but the kids are not giving me a chance, it should be up later tonight, i jigged a lot in Socotra on the first half of the trip as that was our only option at that time, from what i know there is no doggies that been caught by anybody i know and most likely they don't make it to that part of the world, Tanzania is the mother of all Doggies :)
