Just wondering what experiences members have had with DHL. Ordered some tackle from the states which left on the 10th of Feb and arrived on the 14th at DHL's Perth depot. I spoke to DHL and told them to keep it at their depot and I would pick up on my return as I work away approx 2 weeks. Check the status about a week later and notice it had not been cleared, rang DHL and they told me their was duty was owing on it and someone would ring me to sought it out. To cut long story short after at least 6 phone calls and not one return call from DHL I paid the duty yesterday 4.00pm Perth time but to late to release the goods for today Sat 1st, meaning I will not be able to pick them up until Tuesday (Mon public holiday) I wanted for fishing trip which I leave for on Monday.
