I did post this question in the general disscusion forum and one of the mods pointed me your way 😀
I've just booked my self 2 weeks in kalutara in Sri Lanka staying at the Avani resort arriving 1st of September 2015
The resort is split with the Ganga river/ estuary on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other
I will be taking a fair selection of equipment with me which is as follows
2 x tournament boat rods 50 & 80lb class with a good selection of trolling lures etc
I will also be taking 2 spinning rods 1x medium (80gr) and one heavy gt popper rod rated at 80-130lb
If possible can you give me some pointers as to what else I might need / where to fish / techniques and local contacts etc this would be amazing
I'm also interested in local charters , do you operate near here or know of any body who does
Any advice would be much appreciated
