any tips for shoalwater

(1/2) > >>

Ivan Verhage:
hi guys

im hopefully heading up to shoalwater bay in the easter holidays for a week
we will be staying up at stanage bay
my main question is do the GTs feed in the shalower water around the islands or do they prefer the water dropping off quickle
the moon phases look good (full moon) 8)

has anyone got any more healpfull tips?

pm me if you will be up that way at easter

cheers
ivan

Warwick Joyce:
Look for bait and anywhere with current and structure. That shouldn't be to hard to do in that country!

Brandon Khoo:
We tend to focus on rocky outcrops with a lot of current but you will find GTs in deeper wateer toom you will never go too far wrong if you find the bait.

Ivan Verhage:
thanks guys

Graham Scott:
Ivan,
Working from Stanage, make sure you throw in a lighter outfit for queenies, goldens, mid size trout etc. a lot of shallow fringing reef that can be fun, and a bit out of the wind if it blows.
Shallow areas like Ten pin, Collins, Leicester, Mumford are all good
