I really like the megabass sticks but have heard that they tend to be high carbon content for sensitivity.. Is that correct? Also that because they are required to be so sensitive they are a bit brittle?
I want to get a Megabass Orochi Mephisto for throwing swimbaits for pike over here. Paired with a Calcutta Conquest DC that is a sick outfit!
Jon I do like Loomis rods but they just look a bit drab compared to the japanese stuff.

Megabass sticks are beautiful but like any rod, if you mistreat them, they'll go on you. if you're looking for a Mephisto though, good luck. I got the last one made. They're no longer making this model.
