Recommend some awesome dvds
March 12, 2009, 07:26:10 PM
Hi guys

First post here.

I'm planning a trip to ono island in Fiji early next year and a mate mentioned this website.  I've been reading through the reports and am absolutely pumped about getting my first gt along with a host of other new species for me.

Before a big trip, I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes to watch a dvd or 5 that are related to the planned expedition.  It's kinda like christmas eve for a little kid I guess.

Can anybody recommend their favourite gt/popper/jigging dvds that might satisfy my need?

Cheers
Tim

Legend 5 - available from our sponsor Fishead.

The best GT DVD available - that is of course, until my production is finished ;) stay tuned for "GIANT"  ;)

Legend 5 is the business for sure...I just wish I could speak Japanese to get some more tackle tips, and some of the crazy jokes....insane/intense fishing though

G'Day Tim

I'll be fishing Ono Island on next Thursday,  I'll post something early April and let you know how it went.

As for DVDs I've been avoiding them. When I've got a trip coming up it always leads to a tackle buying frenzy and watching DVDs is like pouring petrol on the fire.

AhGu ,

That Japanese guy with brownish hair is Norio Tanabe and his specialty is bass fishing using Shimano reels n a specific Japanese brand of bass rods .
