I suppose the best thing that can happen from a financial perspective is that my mate can't get any (he will be on a flying business visit and doesn't yet know the burden I am about to place on him). That said, "want" is sure to overtake "need" at some stage in the scheme of things - so I'll probably just buy them somewhere else if he can't help.
I reckon Chris has got the best idea - in fact I may just buy two for my wife!
No Brandon, I don't really "need" them at all - but the "want" is growing fast and I so hate to disappoint myself!
On a more serious note, 100,000Yen is over 1,000USD so there may be no advantage other than shipping and customs costs anyway!
