Steve, is there a heavy model designed for the big Hammerheads like the G and I Cup?
If it swims; I want to catch it!

Brandon, from their site (the Japanese side) it doesn't look like they're marketing anything but those two models yet.  But I bet the heavier rod is on the way!

Here is a link to more detail on the Faube 77M, from the English side of the Hammerhead site:

Click on PRODUCT on the left, then GT ROD.

They have several models in test mode I will see them in November when they visit for a week. I will have currently avaiable models onboard for Brock, Duncan and the others to try they can report back.

How widely available are they?  My local dealer asked me if I wanted to order one but I am unsure if he can really make that happen.

Dave, the 77ML & 77M+ should be easily found available in Japan, the 77H is being released end of this month from what I've heard.

Mick
Hammer-Head have not set spec for 77H model.
They had it onboard last year it is PE#12 rod and way to powerful for me.
Spec's should be released soon.

77M+ PE#10 a much better all round rod. But I probably prefer the 78ML.
Did not get much of a chance to use as have to drive vessel.
Link is to Hammer Head trip all rods used during this video.
