I like this GT MAX Gimbal Belt.
With the hots you have to take the pin out to be able to use a gimbal-less rod
With this one you don't have too.

I really like the Seven Seas belt - the removable gimbal pin in the middle plus a butt cup on either side gives a lot of flexibility. It also sits nicely, but that it is a very personal thing.

I bought mine from Anglers Outfitters in Singapore they can ship it to you.

I think Jones' Tackle in QLD sells it too, but they were out of stock when I was looking for one.

Hey Cam. Just so you know, Anglers Outfitters in Singapore is VERY hard to find. On the web they are know as Xpedition Tackle (xpeditiontackles.com). I recommend you drop Richard an email via that website and get detailed instructions on how to find his showroom.

I think Anglers Outfitters and Xpedtion Tackle are 2 different companies.

AO is located near Beach Road where there are a few other tackle shops. Make sure you visit Kaiser tackle which is only a stroll away from AO.

yes, i guess they are two different company(unless inside, run by the same guy- i dont know) with 2 different shop, and they stock completely different brands as well

xpedtition tackle= anglers hut
anglers outfitter=anglers outfitter

Whoops. My Bad. I should read more carefully.

Xpedition Tackle is the same as Anglers Hut and is very hard to find

Anglers Outfitters is completely different and very easy to find in the Beach Road area! As an aside, if you do end up going to Anglers Outfitters, they are a main Smith dealer with good prices on the Smith range.

Sorry for the confusion.

I think the best popping ,and jigging Gamble would have to be the Jigging Master combo unit . ;)

I love both my Fisherman Flat Harness and MC Works TT belt! Light and well padded. As all my rods are with the round butt, i would have no problems using it!

Hi Chris,

At last! I've finally found someone who owns both the belts I'm interested in  :). I'd be really grateful if you could tell me which belt weighs the most please, and also what you think are the pros and cons of each belt?

I'm trying to decide between the Fisherman and the TT but I haven't seen either belt in the flesh.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Dave
