Thinking of buying RippleFisher Infinity 80 or RippleFisher Trevally 80

Mate, I wasn't asking about the Trevally 80, I was asking about the Infinity 80. You made the comment below that you have tossed and turned the Infinity many times and that it is a pretty powerful rod. I'm curious as to where you might have experienced so many of the Infinity seeing it has never been a popular stick here. Nomad bought only a handful in. I don't even know an angler who owns one.

I suspect you may have this stick confused with another because the Infinity is not a particularly powerful stick at all. A 79R and 78F is definitely stronger, not to mention the more serious popping sticks like a 79H.

From a forum perspective, I am simply keen to ensure that we do not end up confusing or mis-informing members who are seeking advice on what maybe an expensive purchase.

I think Nathan said he had "tossed and turned about" rather than "tossed and turned with".. .i.e. thought about it a lot, rather than used it a lot?

For what it is worth I do not think I have ever seen an Infinity 80 in action nor in a tackle shop!

I have seen them in a tackle shop in New Cal last year when I was there,that's where I had a feel of one and said the rod has a lot of power to it..
I tossed and turned about it due to another rod I have already is very similar to it..
