We are very pleased to announce that the new online store for Fish Head is now LIVE.

The new store has many new improved features including:

1.  Better magnification software enabling you to zoom in and view the picture better
2.  Individual photos of each colour of a lure - no more guessing or trying to interpret colour charts.  Click on the colour you like and a photo will appear of that colour and again you can zoom in.
3.  Better rod details.  After answering 100's of questions over the years about rods we are working on getting all the details most requested onto the site for easy reference.  For example all our rods will now list Length, Weight, Line Weight, Cast Weight, Sections, Packed Length and Butt Length.  This will be an ongoing project but and we hope you will find the extra details helpful.  eg http://www.fishhead.com.au/store/products/Seven-Seas-Big-Pop-Magnum-Abalone.html
4.  Easy shipping options.  If you are in Australia and spend over $100 shipping is free.  Under $100 you will pay $10  (*subject to change).  If you are overseas just put the items in the shopping cart, click on calculate shipping, enter your country and you will see the shipping quote.

Fish Head has over 14,500 different product items so as you can imagine it is going to take us a while to photograph every item.  We have started with the Popping and Jigging section (of course) so just click on GT Fishing or Jigging down the left hand side and you will go to those areas.  If you see a logo but no products it means we carry this item in the store - just email us and we will tell you what is in stock.

Tom and Brett have spent 100's of hours on the site so far and on behalf of the Fish Head team I just want to say BRILLIANT job guys! Big thanks to Dazz our webmaster too for answering my zillion questions as we worked out the best way of doing things,

As an aside, any idea who makes FCL Labo's rods for them? That's a new one on me.

Thanks for your comments - still plenty more to be done, many more products to be added over the next few months.

The FCL Labo rods are made by Ripple Fisher. Been using a number of their rods for about 12 months now and have been very happy with them. Tom and Brett will be uploading more of their models to the online store today.
