Indeed! And still too heavy for me, hence hoping that Daiwa comes up with a new lighter Saltiga.

Brandon Khoo:
that'll mean they will make them more expensive too!

Greg Burt:
The new Stellas are ment to be a fair bit lighter.

Mick Cunningham:
found more info  ::) ;D

some one said that ....
I think all of the models are lighter. Here are the specs for the 3 sizes you mentioned.
STELLA SW10000PG - Gear Ratio 4.9 - Drag 20Kg - Weight 610g
STELLA SW10000XG - Gear Ratio 5.8 - Drag 20Kg - Weight 610g
STELLA SW18000HG - Gear Ratio 5.7 - Drag 25Kg - Weight 850g
STELLA SW20000PG - Gear Ratio 4.4 - Drag 25Kg - Weight 850g

Andrew Woodley-Page:
Agreed.......was hoping though..........
Is this new model to be stocked/available in Australia or only in Japan as per the PG/HG models?  I.e, if available in Australia, the FA models may come down in price?  I'm guessing only available in/from Japan.
