Carpenter information website
December 12, 2011, 07:18:58 PM
Hi all,

As Carpenter's website is not so kind to people who does not understand Japanese language, I have launched our information website - Carpenter Lures Australia (http://www.carpenterlures.com.au)

I would like to let it start with product specifications for now with the models related in this region but will gradually post our view of the products to use the in our region.

Cheers,
Tak

Hi Tak ,

Good on you , thanks !

Jon .

Thank you Jon.

Just for example of current discussion about SP80M, we sometime have different view from manufactures specification that is often come from anglers and way charters operate and I think it is worth putting those information (to reduce Brandon's typing!)

@ Jon ....... Hah!  ;D

More seriously, really good effort Tak and thank you for this.  Apart from anything else it is great having a single reference point for Carpenter products in English.

Wow wee Tak a 350 gram Gamma......do they make a rod to match that?

Seriously though, a great resource, much appreciated.

One quick question, why are the Blue Chaser 84/25 ratings (cast weight, max drag and line weight) lower than the 84/22 ratings?

Keep up the good work.

Thank you Peter.

I don't have those two Blue Chaser rods to compare at the moment but Power Max series have been developed for the situation when decent fish only takes small bait for the ability to cast small lures. I assume tip / berry section of 84/25R-PM is lighter than 84/22R-P1.
