Removable core Kevlar for 170lb

Luke Wyrsta:
Not overly toothy resistant. It's still more focused on stopping abraison from GT mouth.

Mark Harris:
Luke is spot on... I would use this as a GT bite leader. I don't think there is a solution other than wire if you want to become razor gang-proof.

And wire is not really a solution as such as means you will not catch many fish!

Brandon Khoo:
If you want serious razor gang resistance, you got to use wire.

Warwick Joyce:
I have never looked at my leader after catching a GT and thought that it had been damaged from their teeth. Maybe I am just lucky?

Mark Harris:
GT teeth can definitely damage your leader - particularly if it is a big fish that inhales the lure.

Also an 80 cm length (for example) of kevlar will give some protection against sharp rocks in shallow water,  against GT tail swipes and also a little bit against the razor gang (although not much).
