SJ41 Vs SJ43
Ben Rivers:
Guys
Does anyone know the difference between them?
Cheers Ben
Dmitrii Novgorodtcev:
They are of different shape. SJ-43 has longer shaft.
Tak Otsuka:
SJ43 is offset hooks I think
Brandon Khoo:
Yes it is.
It is like asking what is the difference between the Decoy GT and Gamakatsu Recorder - they are completely different hooks!
Mark Harris:
Pretty big difference Ben. Do an internet search and check the pictures.
What are you looking to use these hooks for?
Personally I would regard SJ41 (and SJ51) with its very short shank and relatively large gape as a jigging hook or with an assist cord on a lure.
SJ43 with its longer shank , I would seem more as a single to use on a lure with no assist cord or as a back-to-back Baker rig. Although I would usually prefer Owner Jobu for both those functions.
Just my views of course.
