SP78H possibly.
But all three will do the job very nicely.
Mark Harris:
Bloody hell Nick... EP85/36 for an E-Cup :o :o The tip will surely just fold?
I use EP 85/36 for 120-140 gram stickbaits! :P

Howzit Mark, When I first rigged up the EP85/36 with the E-Cup and also use the Cubera 125gr or skipjack. I was not to sure it was going to work and was messing around but it has turned out to be my secret weapon and have caught a lot of great fish on this set up with poppers. I like fishing my poppers slow and with this set up I fish out of the belt and because the rod has a slower taper you give the popper a long pull and moved the popper a long way. Creates a ripping effect in the water. The best part is it casts a mile!!
This clip I made for the EP85/36 and PE6 but all the fish are caught on Cubera 125gr or skipjack. The biggest was 144cm so works for big and small. Also the 60kg YFT I got in Hallaniyat Last year was on the EP and a skipjack.
This was the fish I got at Latham on the same rig but using an E-Cup! For me this is the best popping rod for 130gr range lures I have ever used and can handle big fish. Next time in Southern Oman worth a try especially were you casting in open water. It goes against logic but it is one of those thing that just works and I don't query it to much!
Lifting the fish up from under the boat on the EP85/36, this rod is a legend!
Sorry lost this picture so took it off the Hammerhead site so a bit branded.
With the EP
Love this picture with JJ!
