Anyone had any experience with this rod? Any feedback regarding action, popper/stick bait capability or comparison to other rods are welcomed.
Ripple fisher tend to generally manufacture a very crisp and responsive rod, considering its specs and length, with ability to fish PE 10, sounds like it may be a very powerful rod but not the most comfortable to fish with depending on the way it bends.

I got one from richard.  Its super light and has a great backbone.  I can easily cast lures at 150g.  Easily to poppers and sticks.  And great match with 14k swb.  Landed a 20# bluefin trevally with ease.

Hi Craig,

No the doggie was not caught from the shore but close enough, I would say 200 yards away from shore!
the drop off goes to 400 meters within 50 to 60 feet away from shore in some places, which make the place ideal for those big fish and the way they ambush in early morning and late afternoon.
