Yo-zuri / Duel poppers
September 28, 2008, 08:04:19 PM
Anyone seen the yo-zuri / duel poppers called sashimi bull ? They probably arent GT strength , but would make a good light tackle popper. The unique thing is that depending on the angle, the colour of the popper changes, similar to those squid jigs that change colour.

hi,

i have seen it in tackle shops in singapore, my first thought was...it might not survive a barrcuda attack, just my 2 cents view

not quite plastic....its made of hard Polyurethane type of plastic. Its similar to what the Halco Roosta Haymaker made of. So I reckon its plenty strong.

If its the same stuff as the halcos then thats fine. Halcos are pretty good value for money for light tackle work.

I love fishing with wooden lures, but in my experience plastic lures stand up to teeth a lot better than wooden ones.

Are these new yo-zuri lures a rebadged yo-zuri Surface Bull GT with a Candy paint-job?

Orions don't like it when you cast them against a cliff face. Mind you, that's sort of understandable........    ;D

Hi,
This is one of my favorite lure, long cast for its lite weight, strong enough, small or big GT loves it,Cought 23 kg GT recently with it.
U gotta need to change the split rings & hooks tho, I use 3/0 & 4/0 st 76 on mine.
