tough going in Cairns

(1/2) > >>

Stephen Polzin:
It's less than ideal moon, and pretty ordinary tides at the moment but good weather so I had to go and give it a shot.

Went to a spot where the average size is usually a little above average but there was hardly any current to be found.  Managed to get a few, but it was really tough going.

Ended up giving it away and spent the afternoon snorkling for a change.  At least there's still things to do when the fishing's not great.

Peter Morris:
Ah well Steve...You dusted the cob webs off the gear anyway. 8)

Mate I wish I could go to my local turf and get a few... :D

Hopefully the weather stays good mate. :-\

Pete

Mick Cunningham:
hi stephen .

i would like to know what boat did you end up with  after you sold your old boat ??

Stephen Polzin:
Yeah Pete, spose it wasn't too bad.  The mate I was with brought his speargun and got a few crays so can't really complain.

Mick, the new boat is a Cyclone 540 Side Console.

cheers,

steve

Chris Young:
Steve....Not a bad fish for a "tough" day mate, and Crays too? Sh!t I get to eat sawdust on tough days!!

Nice looking rig too ;)
