Stephen Polzin:
Thanks guys,
Pete the boat is glass, with a 22 degree deadrise. Incredible soft ride which is important up here where it's a minimum of 30km to the reef. The old tinnie was very stable but could be absolutely punishing in choppy conditions. This one's a bit more tender at rest but still quite manageable. Every boat's a compromise unfortunately.
cheers,
steve
Peter Lowe:
Hi again,
Yes, I understand compromise well ::)
Hmmm glass - soft ride - long range, sounds good. What size motor is that and how have you found the economy, lots of questions I know - sorry but am looking all the time and love getting user feed back instead of sales hype.
I must do a search on the net to find out more about it.
Thanks

motor is a 90hp Optimax. Economy is quite good if you keep it under 4500 revs. At around 4000rpm it can do 2.5km per litre at roughly 40km/hr.
