Light spin...Certate 3500hd on Tcurve 5-10 with 20lb Fins...saltwater spin for macks/dolly's
Fast spin ... Emblem 550x on Custom built Sabre 220 (E glass)with 20lb Fins.....Heavier spin for fast retrieve and extra lifting power at the boat, great for long casts at Tuna up to 30kg, cant beat the distance, speed and power of this combo for 40-50g metal ;D ;D (old school)
Light popping stick....Catalina 4500H on Smith GTK70JP with PE4, I love this stick for the smaller pencils and stickbaits up to 100g, has a surprising amount of power.

Smith KGS68M with Twinpower 5000HG and 30lb Powerpro

Love this outfit so much. Light jigging up to 100g or throwing 60-80g lures its awesome. Biggest fish so far was a 35kg sailfish but this wasn't caught by me, was by a friend who borrowed the rod when he went to Madagascar.

Always take this for messing about at night on the back of the liveaboard.

Next purchase will be the PE3 Ripplefisher.

Currently my "light" outfit is a 8ft Shimano Exage Surf with a Stella 6000 and 50lb braid.... Plenty Yellowtial kings fallen to this set up, and Small Bluefin Trevs, Greenspots etc in the surf zone....

Will be upgrading to Ocean Revolution STK76 on release I reckon.....

Keen on some a smaller Twinpower at some point too, on an 8ft of some kind... yet to decide.....

It was easier to show my 'cataloged' Spin combo's, I want to put my StellaFA 8000 on a Zenaq FC 76-4 which I saw at Fish Head to round things off nicely, loverly 50lb outfit .
The  Contender is a cheap [$120] rod but a delight to use for spinning and L/M popping
The Soft Tail [Shikari blank] is a top 20lb SP or light popper rod, perfectly matched to the Twin Power 4000.

Very impressive Greg! Would have taken a while to build that collection up. That Ultra Jigman, you use it for both popping and jigging? Are you sponsored or what? :D ;)

Did it a few years ago on Office Excell Jay, if I keep it updated it helps knowing what line and age [more important with Gamefishing mono] is on what spool, not shown is spare spools and line in hand, oh! and overheads, but thats a different story ;D.
Love to see your collection Pete, I would say it's hard to beat
Sponsored, if only!! ;D wouldn't that be nice  ::)

Couple of quick questions, would everyone agree the new TwinPower is better than the old? and would everyone prefer FINS braid over Tuf Line XP for light work?

Lets hear some opinions..
Cheers

Some people dont seem to think so ;)... refer to this thread Damien...

Just an update... I got my reel back from Tim at Dunphy Sports(Shimano) and now the reel pulls 10kg of drag on both spools. I'm pretty happy with that.
Once again... nice work Shimano! :)
Cheers Rob

my light outfit is as follows

Rod - Daiwa saltiga 80TN
Reel - daiwa Saltiga blast ( a bit slow for me now)
Line - fireline 30lb in pink ( not the best but it will have to do for time being)

I have caught GT's to 18kg with this out fit.

A few of you have mentioned using certate 4000's for the lighter stuff. What is everyones take on the hyper customs (harder gears) versus standard certate 4000's? Are they worth the $200 odd extra dollars for one more bearing and the gears? Don't the standard daiwa's have harder gears than the shimano's anyway??
