I wish I could find the time this year to go there again. I was there last July/Aug. Elusive GT's will stretch your arms, and you will hook big GT's. Frederic, the YFT and wahoo will do your back in. the wahoo are in plaghe proportions and all over 30kg. Once your back home you will be wearing a huge great grin, but you will not be attracting too many hot looking females untill you stop dragging your knuckles on the ground and begin to walk upright like the man you were before you took on the neandertal postures developed from a weeks chaos battling monsters of the deep. But the grin you get to keep! Its worth it!

Was on the same trip as Earl last year.
Good GT fishing at Elusive but highlight was casting poppers to Yellowfin and stickbaits to Wahoo at Frederick. Wahoo were in plague proprtions as Earl says. Found lures like the Sebile Stick shads withstood the wahoo - wooden lures tended to be munted. Had some entertainment watching Earl do battle with a monster wahoo on fly which unfortunately got sharked. casting at the fast moving yellowfin was challenging but got a number on the good old Cubera 125.

Great memories of being out there still fresh in my mind-How are you Graham? Yeah, the sharks left me with a score to settle on that Wahoo. Good job Jose got it all on film. Got to go back and even things out some time!
