Hi Randy, at least we know Brandon and Peter will give us a report, as close as we'll get to a 'big' GT for now unless you back to Sydney Aquarium! ;)
This week the weather forecast at Shoalwater is SE 5-10 knots, now wouldn't that be nice. The weather has been shocking here in SEQ, I had my first day back to work on Monday, well meant to have, but took the day off and went jigging up a couple of Ambos, the only good day in the three week Xmas break we could get out. ;D

PS: Have you got the KD yet.

hopefully, you won't have too long to wait, Greg. It really isn't that long to Marion and with a bit of luck, you'll get to tussle with a reasonable fish there. Maybe the weather is coming good now! I'll have a report post the trip as per usual. I wish I was there now - it is absolutely freezing here in Toronto. The locals reckon it is fine but the wind is absolutely cutting.

If it swims; I want to catch it!

not quite yet, Mick. I only start to get excited about a trip when I am a couple of days out from it.

Claire is back - have you spoken to her to confirm yet?

boy, we had a savage time past year. First few days had 30 - 40 knot winds so we had to fish behind the islands and headlands but the fishing was still amazing. There was only a little rain last year but the wind was murder.

The forecast is for a thunderstorm on Saturday and then the odd shower in the days after. Wind about 15km

Yes, I have my fingers crossed and am hoping for good weather..... Yeppoon has been 10 to 15 all week which would be great. At least we can shelter behind the Islands and still find some good opportunities..

Good to hear that forecast Brandon  - should make it fire....

Waving the big sticks around in a thunderstorm though, hmmmmmm

I don't think it would be a good idea to be waving graphite sticks around in a thunderstorm. that said, it is only some showers for the rest of the days and if the wind remains around 15km, it'll be great.
