Certate 3500HD or Stella 5000SW ?
Hon-Su Chin:
Why not look at a Stella SW 5000 or 6000 PG model?? or even the HG model. The 6.2:1 model you refer to is the export model or equivalent to a XG model.
I have a SW 6000PG for light jigging and heavy soft plastic work. I use my 4000FD for PE2, lighter soft plastic work.
Mario Benedict:
Hon-Su price is the issue there.
The JDM models seem to cost a fair bit more than the export models. You do get the sexy looking Carbon knob with it though. If the prices are the same I'd probably get the 5000HG with a 5.7:1 ratio.
Luke Wyrsta:
Stella is a no brainer, but also consider the TwinPower 5000SW.
High speed and built on the blue-print of the Stella. Comes with a sweet round hypalon handle.
I've caught GTs to 35kg on this (not designed for such fish) and still going hard without service. Smacked a heap of fish over the last 30 days to 12kg without even as much as a freshwater rinse due to remoteness!
I love this reel :-*
Peter Childs:
What line class are you fishing over the Twinpower Luke?
Mario Benedict:
also what rod do you match it with Luke ?
