Hi all,
I have a butt joint rod where the ferrule is loose.

thanks

Go to a rod builder and get the ferrule relaminated to the required thickness .

How loose is it dude? If it's not too bad I can snap a shot of the ferrule wax I'm using and send it to you via mms this evening. Got it from Coho and it's a popular product with fly anglers. The "lipstick" type sucks and I really don't care much for them.

Alternatively save money and use a candle :) .
I am also not sure that wax really helps a loose ferrule get any tighter.
