Stella 8000 and matching rod

Hi all

Unexpectedly, I acquired a stella 8000...so now I am trying to decide on a matching rod.

I already have a dorado 80TN, and t-curve 10-15kg but these have other reels matched with them. I'm looking maybe a nitro godzilla rod that can be picked up here easy enough at the moment.

So for up to $500 what is a nice rod to suit this reel for lure casting and what line class is best served on this reel?

question is what sort of rod you want? Maybe look at something you haven't got already.

Looking for a rod that can cast poppers like halco roosters (the mid size ones),sluggos/minnows. 2 piece and 7-9ft in length.

What are the Tenryu SK862 like?

what reel do you have on your 80TN? I'd be looking to shift that reel and to find that reel another rod.

Andrew Poulos:
On the 80TN I am currently using a 4500 Catalina.
