Twisted Leaders: Instructions + Diagrams

I was Googleing an hour ago and found Neil's tests on a Western Angler 2005 chat and had a quick read, now I've found it here I can take it in at leasure and can put a face to Neil [even though I see it enough on the JT DVD].

like i have said before i am a total novice, so take it easy.
can anyone please post a pic of what this leader is supposed to look like at the end cause i got no idea.
I was  just going to tie the braid to the popper. hmmm silly i know.

I've been varying some of the twisties I do after speaking to Neil last weekend and boy, they scare me just looking at them now! I now have a twisted section comprising of 120lb Jinkai that is around two metres long and then a metre of single strand 330lb Sunline. I have attached the Sunline to the twisted with crimps in some cases and in others with a variant of the nail knot.

I do not think it is possible to tie a conventional knot with monofilament of this diameter. In attaching the swivel, I have crimped it on. Boy, the crimps need to be big!!

I'm looking at these creations and wondering what the hell have I created!?! It looks like a leader for catching a sperm whale. I can say without any doubt that I have never made anything of this guage for fishing before. I'll keep these for really ugly locations with shallow reefs like Fraser or Shoalwater.

I pull the double through the loop in the twisty then proceed to wrap 1 leg only of the bimini double anywhere between 4-8 times and then snug. I'm am not sure about how many wraps is optimal but i haven't had any problems to date.

Help!
 I've tried making the twisted leader but somethings not right.
 1] Using 80lb jinkai 3mt long
 2] 100 twists clockwise
 3] Bring both ends together and secure, leaving a loop about 1.5mt
 4] Twist leader together from the loop end anti-clockwise about 20-30 times until the leader is 'one' and limp
 5] Tie off the dbl tagged end

 My problem is the twists in the leader aren't very tight with to big a loop and a loose tied off dbl end, should I be doing about 200 twists??
 I tried No4 twisting clockwise but the whole leader twisted up.
Any help please.

 Bernie, this little tool may be of help in manually twisting leaders. Its used in the building Ind for twisting bag ties, all wrist action as the handle revolves around the shaft, and easy to count .

Cam, I actually sold one to wellsy a few years ago to make his wire connections for Bullyhoo spreader bars.
 Just finished a couple of twisted leaders, 'IT WORKS'. Just like the mighty Warriors and Bernie's Titans.
