Well they are starting to get thick and closer in 50ks out rather than 120ks.
They did not respond well to stick baits on saturday it was very hard to get deep enough the fish where 30m+ down.
They did respond well to jigs we got 4 to about 35kgs and 2 that would have gone 50kg.
There was also a couple caught between 70kg to 100kg.
If you are thinking of a trip the lead up to the next full moon should be good or any good break in the weather.
we are starting to see a lot more boats in town now so finding them is easier as most of the boats will call in the cordinates once located.

Got a few on tuesday out of Bermi, just inside the southern sea mount. Only managed 1 on a stick bait (carpenter bluefish 100) using my MC works 777 which was cool. The fish was about 35kg. We got a couple on jigs and cubes. The fish disappeared as quick as they showed up.

Quite a few boats catching 25-40 on stickbaits when they are cubed up. Which is great but as you said, action doesnt last long.

We lost a 60kg~ fish at the boat on jig 2 weeks ago.
